Everything that happens is probably suppose to happen even though you're not

Unfortunately laser guns cannot be set on stun. You'll have to upgrade =
to a phaser.

If this option is available it will either be in the Printer Control Panel
that installed with the software that came with the printer or via a reset
button on the back of the printer (not the power switch, that has an
entirely different use).
Third-party utilities and/or drivers for different brands than your printer
may or may not give you this ability, but I'd be hesitant to try one that
wasn't designed for your printer. If the printer were to overload and
spontaneously explode, you'd wind up with toner all over everything.

I heard a new rumor that many gas companies are now issuing a warning:
"Buying and/or using this brand of gasoline does not protect you when
running into trees." (sorta like the McDonalds "this coffee is hot"
notice)
Naturally there is also a rumor that the ACLU is already filing a
suit....on behalf of the trees.

Hello.
I'm writing to you with the intent - nay, the need! - to bring to light
information which is so shocking...so important, it will forever change the
face of the planet.
I recently purchased and installed a copy of Microsoft Windows98. Much
to my horror, I discovered that Microsoft had unfairly and unjustly
integrated the color Blue into the operating system!
I couldn't believe it! Surely this wasn't right? Microsoft had assumed -
on my behalf - that I would want to use Blue? Who do they think they are?!
Well I wasn't about to stand idle while my available palette was chosen
for me. I mean, sure - I don't have to actually *use* Blue. There's always
Red and Green; they're free, and I can install them and have them work
without fuss. In fact, Green is only too willing to take over the role of
Blue, even without asking me if I want it to. With just a few clicks, I can
turn off Blue completely and never deal with it again.
But no...no I say! That's not enough! Even though Blue was now totally
disabled, the *possibility* of using Blue was still present. I had to remove
it - strike it down, as if it never existed! After all, the capability to
use Blue was obviously taking up an unholy amount of space on my 37GB hard
drive. I had to find a way; and eventually, I did.
Ladies and gentlemen: I'm thrilled to announce that after months of
frustration and work, I have found a way to *completely* remove all traces
of Blue from Windows98. It is my great honor to present to you, 98Blech!
Pronounced "bleck - h", Blech! is derived from a German phrase which
translates loosely as, "Hey, I know! Let's remove half of what it does, and
see if it will run a little faster!"
Performance tests (which I devised) have proven - beyond a shadow of a
doubt - that the Blech!-ified operating system runs 87% faster than the
functional...err....retail version of Windows98.
In fact, my groundbreaking work with 98Blech! has inspired me to
strip...err...fix, other software. Think of the possibilities!
WordBlech! (supports 1 font; removes nonessential features such as
printing and saving documents)
OutlookBlech! (doesn't actually retrieve or send email; forgets contact
information)
ExcelBlech! (maximum of 3 cells; programmed to automatically erase
documents involving any calculation which totals greater than 5)
Flight SimulatorBlech! (aircraft no longer leaves the ground; available
views are restricted to forward and backward)
MasmBlech! (supports only half of the x86 instruction set; won't build
executables greater than 5k in size)
The sheer scope of my discovery...stripping the guts out of software can
actually make it run faster and take less space! Why, Einstein himself dared
not dream of such things!

Solitaire is an essential part of Win98. You cannot remove Solitaire from
Win98 no matter *what* the DOJ claims. Solitaire is essential to the
functioning of Win98's graphic user interface, and, in fact, most of
Microsoft's development over the last two years has been aimed at making
most of its applications Solitaire-enabled so that you can launch card games
from nearly any app. Furthermore, Solitaire is free, and there's absolutely
no good reason they shouldn't give it away! I'd like further to add that ...

According to Microsoft, the power on switch on the computer is an
integral part of Win98, and any attempt to disable the switch will cause
the computer to cease operations.
I understand they have a patent pending on this feature.

Files become corrupted. Computers sometimes blink, belch, glance aside,
yawn, or show signs of minor flatulence and, when this doesn't happen, a
file gets copied a little wrong, or some such thing.
Certainly one cause of this is improper shutdown procedures. But I think we
just need to accept that sometimes things get screwed up for what amounts to
"no particular reason." A strong trend in Windows and in support software is
tools to try to find where this has happened and repair it painlessly.

против молодого демократического режима России.
В связи с этим, правительство России постановило, что каждый дорогой россиянин
должен научиться работать на системе с открытым програмным кодом и иметь ее у себя,
на жестком диске или CD в роме (нормативы по инсталяции будут опубликованы в Ведомостях).
